Just One Childhood
Join us to honor outstanding advocates for children and renew our commitment to make every child’s one and only childhood the best it can be.

Jen leads the state and federal lobbying and government relations activities of the Children’s Alliance. She has a strong background in public policy advocacy and a firm commitment to justice for children, especially in low-income and rural areas. Born in Portland and raised in Alaska and Gig Harbor, Jen is a longtime Washingtonian. She graduated from Washington State University in 2003 and grew to love Central Washington while teaching families, health care providers, and educators across the region.
Jen has also worked in the state legislature and in electoral politics. Passionate about empowering youth and giving them sound leadership tools, Jen returns each year to the summer camp she began working at in 1999 to get back to her roots working directly with kids.
