Nadiya Beckwith-Stanley works on the End Hunger Washington campaign, connecting families directly affected by food policy with the people who write, implement and analyze those policies.
A Seattle native, Nadiya began working as a community organizer at the age of 14, and has since maintained a commitment to working with and for the communities around her. Most recently, this includes her role as the Children’s Alliance’s 2008 Electoral Advocacy Coordinator. During the 2009 legislative session, she also worked for the House Democratic Caucus and served as a research analyst for Flyin’ West Marketing. Nadiya holds a bachelor’s degree in U.S. History and Black Studies from Pomona College.
