Seayoung provides administrative support to the early learning policy team and the Deputy Director. She is excited to be in the company of the inspiring Children’s Alliance staff, whose work is rooted in racial justice and equity for all children in Washington. Her experience working with young people includes caring for infants at a child care center to mentoring middle and high school students of color at programs such as YWCA GirlsFirst and Rainier Scholars.
Prior to joining Children’s Alliance she was involved in social justice efforts with a number of organizations in Seattle, often focused in Asian American communities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington. She loves theater and is a member playwright with the Asian American collective: SIS Writers Group.
