Information about HCCY member organization Northwest Health Law Advocates (NoHLA).
Participating staff: Janet Varon, Emily Brice
Description: Northwest Health Law Advocates (NoHLA) is a legal and policy advocacy organization. Our goal is to improve access to health care for all Washington State residents, in particular those who have limited resources and depend on public health programs such as Medicaid and Basic Health.
We are located in Seattle. We are not a membership organization. We serve all Washington residents through our advocacy and we work closely with legal services organizations and other advocates.
Work in child/youth health: Through policy analysis, training and advocacy, we work to improve access to health care for children, including the Apple Health for Kids program.
For more information: see NoHLA website.
