It took years of work together – and we did it! The cut to State Food Assistance is over!
The cut unfairly burdened immigrant families - primarily in communities of color - with hunger and economic hard times. Families and advocates spoke up courageously and persistently for five years! Advocacy worked! The cut is ended and families' food assistance is restored
It’s a reason to celebrate! Families, community leaders and state legislators who helped make this victory possible will be at this event. Everyone is welcome.
