When parents lose their jobs, children can become victims. They see their parents' stress. They can start to feel guilty. They don't understand why Dad is angry or why Mom cries. They sometimes go without meals, or don't have access to medical care that is needed. This is WRONG for all our families. Don't cut programs that help these young victims. They are not to blame for the economy or for budget cuts.
