TELL LAWMAKERS: VOTE YES FOR THE MILLIONAIRES TAX!

The Millionaires Tax would be a significant step toward balancing our tax code. It would tax annual earnings over $1 million at 9.9% and is anticipated to raise nearly $3.7 billion a year from less than 1% of the wealthiest households statewide. Revenue from this tax would primarily go into the state’s General Fund to support vital programs and services like health care and education, and it would also expand eligibility for the Working Families Tax Credit.

The Millionaires Tax (Senate Bill 6346) is up for a vote in the House Finance Committee on Friday, February 27 at 8 am. Please use the form below to urge your lawmakers to vote YES!
